This three day intensive programme is designed exclusively for the students of visual / mass communication. This workshop will be leaning more towards the creative / aesthetic aspects of photography. Basic technical aspects (shutter-aperture-exposure) will also be discussed. Enrollment is through your college at a special concessional fee.

• An introduction to the most often photographed subjects – people and nature
Teaching Methodology
The course will include lectures and slide shows every day. Examples shown in the class will include instructor’s own work as well as images from around the world. Assignments will be given, which will have to be photographed on the second day morning, evening and third day morning. There will be two critique sessions of the results of the shoot, one on the second day afternoon and one on the third day afternoon.
What to bring
Your 35mm Digital Camera, lenses and any filters that you have. A compact tripod will be useful. You can bring any photographs you have done to discuss with the faculty. Cold weather clothing.
