COMMUNICATIVE IMAGE

This five-day intensive workshop is a result of requests received from faculty of various institutions. The workshop offers the students an insight into a dedicated approach to photographic learning and exposure to an exclusive photography institution. Enrollment is through your college at a special concessional fee.

• Understanding the power of images
• Influence of photography and thinking visually
• Exploring the possibilities of the camera - lenses / shutter / aperture
• Light, colour and composition / design of an image
• Creativity exercises

Teaching Methodology

This will include lectures, slide shows & demos. This is designed as a 'hands-on' workshop; therefore the participants have to shoot everyday for the assignments given in class. Every assignment is critiqued and feedback given. There will be one field trip with the Faculty to a beautiful location nearby.

What to bring

Your 35mm Digital camera, lenses and any filters that you have. A compact tripod will be useful. You can bring any photographs you have done to discuss with the Faculty. Cold weather clothing.
