ALAN TRAEGER |
On an overcast summer morning, 40 feet below a glassy July ocean Alan Traeger first discovered the magic of Photography. That seed of discovery, planted by a Nikonus V, germinated for ten years before blossoming into a passionate love of Photography and the journey toward a professional career.
Since graduating with honors from Art Center College of Design, Alan’s work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Shenzhen, China; and recognized by the International Photo Awards, The Chinese International Press Photo Competition, APA, ASMP, American Photography, and The World Council for Arts and Culture.
“Photography is communication. Portrait, landscape, product, fashion, commercial or personal work, the photographer tells stories,” he says. “We learn, we grow, we experience and our work, our vision reflects this…our personal experience distilled into a unique vision greater than the sum of its parts. By creating images the photographer shares their journey, their story.”
Alan lives in Los Angeles, CA, travels frequently, and is currently teaching photography at Light & Life Academy in India. |
